From 12pm until 4pm

Take an unusual tour of Coventry University

Hop onto one of our special tricycles and enjoy a FREE look behind the scenes at Coventry University. You can discover:

Creativity Bus for Budding Artists
Hop aboard Coventry University’s double decker bus and get creative. Have a go at clay modelling, screen print your very own tote bag or simply relax and listen to music from student band Looper.

Adventures in healthcare
Take a tour of our new Alison Gingell building and see facilities for training paramedics, nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals. As well as a working ambulance, operating theatre, mock hospital wards and midwifery suite, you’ll see our community house and a crime scene used for Forensic Science and Forensic Investigations.

High Performing Engineering Centre
Journey around the high performance engineering centre and see all things mechanical: a real Harrier jet, motorsport workshops and a Wind Tunnel commissioned by the Mercedes F1 team. Why not take to skies and pilot one of our merlin flight simulators.

Law and Order
Put on a wig and gown to experience the Moot Room, Coventry University’s very own ‘mock’ court room used to hone skills in a ‘Court of Appeal’. And get first-hand experience ‘driving’ some of the latest technology used to enhance teaching.

Tours start in University Square. Register your interest on the day at the Coventry University stand.

    1. Hi Rani, Thanks for the email. The bike tours take place on inter-connected trikes, so it depends on the level of ability of your child – they would need to be able to hold their balance on the trike, but wouldn’t necessarily be needed to peddle. The tours can also be taken on foot / in the chair though, and the campus is wheelchair friendly, so you can still take part even if the bikes are not an option. We hope you will come along! all best, Helen
