Textile artist Julia O’Connell created the Coventry banner for Processions 2018, with fellow artist Julie Joannides and female members of the Moat House Community Trust (Wood End), the Hagard Centre (Willenhall) and the Monday Night Makers group at Imagineer (Radford). 

For the Festival of Imagineers, Julia will hold a free drop-in stitch session during the exhibition of Processions banners at The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum. Attenders will learn simple kantha stitching with Julia.

Materials provided. Suitable for ages 12 upwards.

PROCESSIONS was commissioned by 14-18 NOW and produced by Artichoke.
